Landscape plan of Bower Ashton Roundabout

The planning proposal is designed to develop a parkland type setting for the Bower Ashton roundabout and associated green areas reflecting the landscape character of Ashton Court.

The planting also provides a setting for a sculptural Bower Ashton sign 1 and an artwork 2 to be produced by art college or school students and replaced annually.

1 The location of the Bower Ashton sign is designed to be viewed from the Winterstoke underpass approach.
2 The location of the art work is designed to be viewed from the A369 approach.

In addition to these proposals Bower Ashton Residents Association is considering if the high central street light on the roundabout can be replaced by lower level street lighting.
