   To get directions, when the new map window opens click on the point marker and then the directions link.

Googles directions are by road. If you are in Bower Ashton, you may find walking almost as quick as unless I have got carried away, the events will be normally be within 15 maybe 20 minutes walking distance from Bower Ashton.
