Directions

Some of the events with a link to a web site will have maps on the external site.

However you may find the Google Maps site easier. Just click on the the post code link beside the location you are interested in.

When the map appears click either on directions 'to here' or 'from here' and then enter a destination or starting post code. Thats harder to explain in text than to actually do, have a go: -

BS41 9JN	Ashton Court Mansion.
BS3 2JL	Ashton Park School.
BS3 2JY	Avon Gorge: Tow Path (part of the Avon Trail). Also the Police Dog and Mounted Police station. See on the map, the white road by the river for the start of the Tow Path. No parking near this point!
BS3 2JX	Bedminster Cricket Club, Clanage Road
BS3 2EJ	Bristol City Football Club (BCFC).
BS1 6XN	Bristol Record Office also the CREATE Centre.
BS3 1JP	St. Francis Church and Hall, North St.
BS3 1TF	The Tobacco Factory, North Street.
BS3 2JT	University of the West of England (Bower Ashton).

Googles directions are by road. If you are in Bower Ashton, you may find walking almost as quick as unless I have got carried away, the events will be normally be within 15 maybe 20 minutes walking distance from Bower Ashton.

If you share my interest in satellite photo's, Google also supply a satellite view of Bower Ashton or indeed most of the UK (just enter a post code).

You can zoom in further than the general view shown. At the highest resolution, I can pick out people walking along Coronation Road (by the New Cut of the River Avon).
